General criteria
Like all other processes, the MIM technology has its limits and criteria which must be observed.
  1. Maximum length: 130mm
  2. Maximum wall thickness: 12mm
  3. Minimum wall thickness: 0.2 mm
  4. Optimal wall thickness: 2mm to 5mm
  5. Maximum weight: 550 gm green part weight, resulting in approximately 520 grams of steel
  6. Minimum weight: less than 0.1 grams.
  7. No sharp corners/edges
  8. As far as possible, provide drafts of no less than 0.5°-1° to avoid the need for specialised extraction systems.
